Apostille services will be provided for these documents:

  • Documents signed and notarized in by a CA notary.
  • Documents bearing the signature or stamp of a CA elected or appointed official.
  • Birth, Death, Marriage, and Divorce certificates, must be certified by the county.

The envelope you mail to us should include:

  • The CA document that was issued by CA, signed and sealed by an official, or notarized by a CA notary
  • A check, money order or your credit card information for $60 for each document

made out to US Apostille.  The fee is not for each page of the document, but for the number of Apostilles needed. Email us for reduced fee schedule if you have a high volume of documents that need Apostilles.

  • A prepaid addressed shipping label we will use to return your documents to you. The link above prepared the labels for you.
  • Include the completed form with your personal information including the destination country for your documents

    Four (4) items are required for processing an Apostille:
    1. A document signed by a California public official or an original notarized and/or certified document. A photocopy is not acceptable.
    2. cover sheet.   You may write your own or follow this link:  https://notary.cdn.sos.ca.gov/forms/apostille-request-form.pdf . If you write your own be sure to include the destination country, your name and address, and a way to contact you if we have a question.
    3. check or money order payable to Secretary of State in the amount of $20.00 per Apostille, not the number of pages, requested.
    4. self-addressed envelope for the processed document to be returned. If you want to use expedited mail service, such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. please include the prepaid shipping label with your documents.  If you do not provide pre-paid postage, our office will return your document via United States Postal Service regular mail.
